This template is designed to prepare documents to be read on the Amazon Kindle.

The Kindle has a 6 inch Eink screen that is too small to read documents that were written on a regullar page size (A4 or letter). This template overcomes that problem by using a A6 page size with customized margins that fits well on the Kindle's screen. The document can be exported as a PDF in order to be read on the Kindle.

By using a A6 page size for the template, it is possible to easily print 4 pages on every A4 sheet.

The template can be used for taking lecture notes that will can be transferred to the Kindle when you want to read them.

In hopes that this template could be of more use to you, other than just as a book template, I have modified the styles to include a reasonable envelope size: "#6 3/4 (Personal) Envelope". I have also modified the styles to use FreeSerif, FreeSans, and FreeMono, assuming that these fonts are consistently available.
